Dr Lucy Cudmore

Lucy graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008. She completed an internship in Equine Medicine, Surgery and Reproduction at the Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital and then undertook a Residency in Equine Internal Medicine at the University of Melbourne. During her residency she was awarded a Masters of Veterinary Science for her research in the treatment of equine systemic inflammation.
Following her residency Lucy completed a breeding season at the Tamworth Equine Veterinary Centre and joined the Scone Equine Hospital's Clovelly Intensive Care Unit in 2014.
Lucy’s clinical interests include neonatology, critical care, poor athletic performance and endocrinology. Lucy’s experience with imminent researchers in endocrinology at the University of Melbourne has sparked a particular interest in diseases such as Equine Metabolic Syndrome and Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (previously known as ‘Equine Cushing’s disease’).
Lucy was made a Diplomat of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine in March 2015. She is a Registered Specialist in Equine Medicine.
